IS PNOY STILL EFFECTIVE ON FILIPINOS?

     
                 Four years ago, after winning the election for being the president of the republic of the Philippines , many of us are asking if Pnoy is still doing great in his term, is his actions and activeness are just in the beginning to impress us Filipinos?


                 Definitely not. Because there is a lot of things that he have done for the sake of our country and he also have a lot of plans that he hope to accomplish before his term will be terminated. One of his greatest accomplishments is convicting those politicians that have done nothing and just corrupt the budget for Filipinos.  In that case other politicians would not even attempt to steal from the budget because they already know what will happen to them if they do so.In addition, he made our economy progress because of the high percentage of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). From being the "sick man of Asia", our economy grows to become the "rising tiger of Asia." Because GDP is the base if the economy of a country is progressing or not.


                 But now, many Filipinos and critics are bashing Pnoy for the Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP). According to them, DAP is out of constitution and just used for commissioning money. Yet DAP is for the sake of all of us. Because DAP is for the fast distribution of the money for a certain project. For example, if there is a calamity, the budget for relief and rehabilitation will come as soon as possible because of the DAP.


               In conclusion, Pnoy is still doing well as the President of the Philippines. Filipinos should have to wait for the real progress that every Filipino would experience. And Filipinos should also help themselves to have a good life because progress is out of reach if Filipinos will not cooperate and do something good for our motherland. Just like what John F. Kennedy said "Do not ask for what your country could do to you but ask what you can do for your country.

Gadgets everywhere can make your life a nightmare

Gadget is one of those things that many youths are addicted now. Because gadgets have many features like it could take pictures, access to internet, you could also play games, talk to your friends and many more. There are many gadgets that are so in demand nowadays. Some these are IPads, tablets, and android phones. But do you know that too much use of gadgets have negative effects on us, humans?

A study has found that too much use of gadgets by youths can cause atrophy of grey matter that may lead to concentration and memory problems. A study also revealed that it may cause part of youths’ brain to waste away. Scientists discovered signs of atrophy of grey matter in the brains of heavy gadget users that grew worse over time. This could affect their concentration and memory, as well as their ability to make decisions and set goals. It could also reduce their inhibitions and lead to inappropriate behavior.

Gadgets are truly useful and important to us but we should also have our limits. Because everything that is excessive have bad effects on us. Let us try to be practical because life is too short, lessen your time for your gadgets then add your time to bond with your family and friends. Try to make every seconds of your life more relevant and unforgettable by making memories that will last forever

I’m great in my own way

Seeing my love ones smile, spending time with my friends, and seeing my Korean idols, that are the things that make me smile. So simple and ordinary yet this are the things that I cannot live without.

            I’m great in my own way and I love myself because God gave me all of this but there is one thing that I really feel great about myself and that is my attitude.  Because attitude will tell what your whole personality is and who you are. Others can say that I’m snobbish, some may say that I’m very kind but I don’t care on what they say about me because I know myself, I am not affected on what their impressions may be. But sometimes I really listen to their suggestions because it is for my own good. Because there are some instance that the impression of others is better than our own.

            As a teenager, it is really hard for me manage my time because of many things that I need to do and need to be finished.  Although sometimes, I’ve made it but there is one thing that I am really addicted to and always ruin my schedule, and that is watching Korean music videos, Korean dramas and listening to K pop music. I really can’t stop myself from doing that. I don’t know why? Maybe because I always do it every day so when I didn’t watch at least one of those, my mood will change or I will cancel what I am currently doing just to watch it.

            Friends, idols, and my family inspire me most because they are my life. Everything that I am doing is for them. I want to finish everything finely because I want to show them that I am very grateful to them because they completed my life and build me to be what I am today.

            I am good in writing, singing and dancing, seriously. But I don’t show it to others because they might disagree with me.  Just kidding! I don’t want to show them my talents just to entertain them. I want it to be remarkable and to be useful.

            “If something or a situation is presented to you once, we often dismiss it as it is happenstance. But when someone or a situation is presented to us twice, it is God slapping us in the face to pay attention. It is fate.” We should treasure everything and everyone that that came to our life because it is a present from God that we could use in hard situations or it could help us to achieve our goals.

            My purpose is to help and support my family and to make people smile. Because life is not an mp3 where you can play what you want, but life is a radio where you have to enjoy what is being played. And my mission is to fulfill my goals in life and save and help my family from difficulties that we are encountering and we will encounter in the future.

GOT7: The newest anticipated Kpop group

  

        JYP Entertainment have formed a hip hop boy group popularly known as GOT7 which comprises seven members. Two of them originally debuted as a pop duo JJ project in 2012. GOT7 debuted on January 15, 2014 with their debut song "Girls, girls, girls." And on January 20, they have released their first mini album called "Got it?"

       GOT7 is not just South Korean boy band because of its member who are Chinese and Thai. Here is the line up of GOT7 :

             Last June 23, GOT7 made their comeback with an album titled "Got love." Their lead single "A" topped at various music charts in Korea.

Aside from working on their comeback, they also have reality show called "I GOT7"

which is aired on SBS MTV and a show on youtube titled "REAL GOT7" which will have their season 2.

Even though they are young they already proved that they can be one of the best. Their early success dictates that GOT7 will last longer and will be more gorgeous and great. I'll bet that GOT7 will be like EXO and BIGBANG that is very popular in the world after few more years. So GOT7 hwaiting!!! Saranghae!!! 

       

 The man who changes me

   Every single word that came out from his mouth is like a magical word for me. His words surely makes a great impact in my personality.he is not the guy who will always smiles at you every time you see him but he is one of a kind for me.

   He is intelligent, industrious and kind. Sometimes humorous to those who he only knew. At first you will be scared of him because of his eyebrows  that is always connected at the center of his forehead . But once you already talked to him, you will not only enjoy talking to him, but you will also get some advices and knowledge from him.

   My brother. He is the one who inspires me everyday. Without his advices, I am not here full of confidence and trying all of my best to be like him. But in reality, I couldn't really achieve what achievements and intelligence he already have and proved. Because I am not industrious and intelligent enough to level myself to him. He is so high for me to reach. It is like I couldn't reach him anymore yet he is so humble. He always tell me that I should study hard and put up some more effort that what I have done in the past years. And if I do it all, he believes that I can be like him. He is like my mentor because he is the one who always praises me and pushes me to be great.

  He is my brother. My only brother. And I am very proud to be his sister and to be a part of his life. Without him, I couldn't imagine what am I today. So I am very grateful to GOD because HE gave us a brother that will always make us proud and would lend his time to help us whenever we needed him.

My Room


Each of us have roles in life that we should do or play part in order to have what  are we aspiring for. And of course, each of us have different roles which varies depending on our economic status, maturity and capability.

For me, it is very important because nowadays, people are not playing their roles in life correctly. Sometimes, they do the things which they are not supposed to do. Like us students, we are in our puberty (adolescence) stage where we should study more fervently instead of fooling around and wasting time in non-relevant causes. We should study more, at this age. Yet, there are many people who does not accept this fact.

I also like the discussion about the battle with Grendel, because in that epic aside from intellectual knowledge, you can acquire moral lessons which you can perpetuate in the real world. The message of that epic is "Don't be scared of your fears, just face it and fight it out sooner or later, you'll forget about it.

Let me also remind you that fears faced ultimately becomes your strength rather than your weakness.

KPOP Saranghae

 Because of modern technology, there are lots of things you can do. You can communicate to your friends even if they are away from you, or research about certain things with just a click and many more. And thanks to modern technology because this is my simple way to show my love, support and faith to my idols in Korea because I'm not that rich to visit their country. It's too expensive for me as an ordinary student.

         KPOP is not accepted by others because they say that its not normal to listen to music that you don't even understand. Well, that's true but if you'd just appreciate their music styles, voice quality plus their awesome choreography and their cute faces, you'll probably understand us, KPOP fans on why we are willing to spend money just to buy lots of KPOP Merchandises or download all of their stuffs.

       At first, I was really having a hard time on listening to KPOP Music because I didn't understand the song the first time I listened to it, but because of my determination and willingness to study all about Korea, I made it! Now I can read and write their writing style called Hangul.

       By the way, in the KPOP industry, there are a lot of groups, but there are only three groups  that really captured my heart, and mind. Those groups are BIGBANG, from YG Entertainment, EXO from SM Entertainment and the newest group from GYP Entertainment called GOT7 which made their debut last June 2014. I like these groups because of their music styles, genre, awesome faces and great choreography. BIGBANG does not have a choreography as amazing of that of EXO or GOT7, but they have songs that makes me emotional. Because their songs are really coming from the heart.

        BIGBANG debuted a bit successful in 2006 but they didn't become that popular at the beginning. In 2008, G-Dragon declared to write a song for BIGBANG that was titled "Lies". This song made the group so popular and made to the no. 1 spot of hit charts for several weeks. After that success, they released a song entitled "Day by Day", it was also successful but that song made them popular in various parts of the world. This song packed with emotions, and a remarkable beat had also a good music video. It will surely make you cry even if you don't want to. After that, their success continued. They made their last comeback in 2012 with the song "Fantastic Baby", but there is  a rumor that they will come back this year.

Aside from group activities, they also debuted as a solo artist. They all successful in their careers. G-Dragon, Taeyang, Seung Ri and Daesung became music artists but TOP focused on his acting stint but he also released a solo album. This year, the maknae of the group SeungRi is part of the Korean Drama series Angel Eyes.

     

BIGBANG is the best KPOP group I've ever known. And neither EXO nr GOT7 can reach their achievements because the group is a complete package and has a heart for VIP's like me.

         It is true that KPOP is just awesome and successful and that is the proof. We, even it we're not Koreans appreciate their hard work and many people are willing and dying just to see them. And that's it , KPOP is like a drug that is distributed throughout the world making people crazy and addicted to it, but in a good manner. :)
